Trekking across Middle-Earth certainly required a lot of ambition, stamina, and patience, but I may be even more impressed by Patrick Acton’s quest to build a model of Minas Tirith entirely with matchsticks. If I lived closer to Iowa, I’d definitely be checking out this out in person 
Oh, the things one can do when they’ve got too much time on their hands!
